Hotel Information

Conference attendees will need to make their hotel reservations directly with the Iowa House by March 3. The Institute will no longer be involved in making hotel reservations. Hotel reservations at the Iowa House can be made starting today at (319) 335-3513 or by e-mail to kathy-murphy@uiowa.edu. When making your hotel reservations, you must indicate you are attending the IMMI Conference. A block of rooms has been reserved at the Iowa House (adjacent to the Iowa Memorial Union) at a conference rate of $75 per night. High-speed internet access is available to participants on request at the time you make your room reservations. Individuals are responsible for their own reservations. If you would like to share a room with another attendee as in previous years (which we still encourage due to limited number of available hotel rooms), you need to coordinate with your roommate and arrange for one of you to make the reservation. If you are looking for a roommate, I recommend posting a notice on the “Grapevine” to that effect and you can team up with someone else who is looking for a roommate. Important Deadline: Room reservations must be made by Monday, March 3. We have a block of rooms on reserve but we lose our “hold” after March 3.
