Independent Sector recently released its Volunteering and Civic Life in America report on the value of volunteer time. The estimated average value of a volunteer hour was $22.14 in 2012, which is an increase of 35 cents. See the full report.
What does the American Taxpayer Relief Act (ATRA) of 2012 mean for charitable nonprofit organizations? The automatic cuts to domestic program spending and reductions in the charitable giving incentives are among matters yet to be addressed. Recent Reports
Partnering for Impact is the name of a report released by The National Council of Nonprofits. It is a guide for nonprofit leaders and government officials who want to streamline the government-nonprofit contracting process. The guide and other resources can be found at www.GovtContracting.org

The Iowa Nonprofit Employee Benefits Survey 2012 and questions with a breakdown of responses are available here. The Employee Benefits Committe of the Governor's Nonprofit Project conducted the survey during the summer of 2012.
