IPA helps local government leaders assess needs, evaluate and improve their organizations, build teamwork, implement organizational goals, and identify available resources.

IPA works with local government leaders in identifying and responding to emerging issues and opportunities within the public sector arena.
Information and Publications
IPA publishes and distributes handouts and guides for local government officials, such as the Municipal Policy Leaders' handbook: A Guide for Iowa Mayors and Council Members, as well as serving as an information resource for other articles and information referrals.
